My Haircare Journey – Sazan

This year I have been working on prioritizing self care, specifically when it comes to hair care! I made it a goal to put some time into repairing my damaged hair, and I have to be honest, I have been loving the results! I want to share a little bit of my hair journey with you, and walk you through some of my best tips and practices, plus a drugstore friendly haircare system if you’re not trying to break the bank.

Damage and repair became my primary focus when trying out different hair products. I love high end products, but I also love and appreciate good drugstore products and brands. There is something so satisfying about finding a great product that’s also super affordable so you can funnel some of your money back into your self care fund! 

I wanted to share an easy routine that can help your hair without having to cut out heat styling or getting highlights. Recently I got my hands on the Pantene Miracle Rescue Collection to try and see if it’s worth the hype. For starters, it is more affordable than a $60 treatment thanks to products like the Deep Conditioning Treatment, but does that mean it will work just as well? I put it to the test by trying the whole shabang! The collection includes: A Miracle Rescue Deep Conditioning Treatment, Miracle Moisture Mix-In, Miracle Moisture Multitasking 10 in 1 Spray and Miracle Rescue Intense Rescue Shots, which makes things so easy! 

Here’s how I used each part of the collection. After shampooing, I conditioned with the Miracle Rescue Deep Conditioning Treatment. I immediately noticed my hair soaking it up! I followed the instructions and left it on for about 1-3 minutes and then rinsed. It’s pretty hydrating if you ask me but if you’re someone who might need an extra dose of moisture, you can mix anywhere from 1-5 pumps of the Miracle Moisture Mix-In with the conditioning treatment.. Post shower I sprayed in their Miracle Moisture Multitasking 10 in 1 Spray. Let me just say this product was really amazing because it not only saved me from adding all the extra products, it saves me space in my shelf cabinet! Ha! I loved how it worked as a detangler and a heat protectant and great universal pre-styling product. Once a week it’s recommended to give your hair some extra love so if you’ve been skipping out on the hair mask treatments, you’ll love their Miracle Rescue Intense Rescue Shots. You can use them in place of the conditioner as a weekly deep conditioning treatment.
