They move from one job to the next, helping people feel demonically possessed. The show’s humorous connection between spiritual possession and bad luck is always a plus. One client believes that buying a statue will bring him bad luck. It turns out that the statue was possessed and that the client was conned into paying more than 10 times the amount. This shows that he didn’t have good luck. This is what makes the show stand out from other psychic-based shows.

As is often the case, Reigen is the highlight of the episode. We see not just one, but two of his “special maneuvers” and how he still convinces those around him that is is also a psychic. This is something that should have been old by now but miraculously has not. We can see it in one of the customers the main gang deals with, and we also see it in the nervousness of new recruit Serizawa, since he moved from an evil organization to Reigen’s at the end of last season. As always, the series is able to make full use of its characters when it comes to exploring its own themes.

About Mob Psycho 100

About Mob Psycho 100

Mob Psycho 100 is a Japanese anime series based on the manga series created by One. The anime adaptation was produced by Bones and directed by Yuzuru Tachikawa. Hiroshi Seko wrote the scripts, Yoshimichi Kameda designed the characters, and Kenji Kawai composed the music. The series aired between July 12, 2016 and September 27, 2016 on Tokyo MX. For Season 1, the opening theme song, titled “99”, was performed by Mob Choir, while the ending theme song, titled “Chorus Boy” (rihureinboi, Rifurein Boi), was performed by ALL OFF . The series was simulcast on Crunchyroll, while Funimation streamed the show’s simuldub. The English dub was produced by Bang Zoom! Entertainment.[5] On April 18, 2019, Funimation and Crunchyroll confirmed that season two will be simuldub on April 25.

A second season of the anime series has been announced, with the staff and cast returning to reprise their roles. Mob Psycho 100 II aired from January 7 to April 1, 2019, with the series simulcasting on Crunchyroll.
A third season, titled Mob Psycho 100 III, has been confirmed to be in production. The premiere is scheduled for October 6, 2022. The third season simuldub was to be produced by Crunchyroll rather than Bang Zoom! with some roles recast, due to the choice to move dubbing production to in-person recording sessions at their Dallas-based studio, rather than remote recordings, after relying heavily on the latter early in the COVID-19 pandemic.

About Mob Psycho 100

Among the planned recasts was Mob’s voice, Kyle McCarley, who said he likely wouldn’t reprise the role because Crunchyroll refused to negotiate a possible union contract for future anime dubbing productions with McCarley’s SAG union. -AFTRA. McCarley had offered to work non-union on Season 3 on the condition that Crunchyroll talk to SAG-AFTRA, but since that didn’t happen, McCarley likely won’t be returning. This news sparked a lot of criticism for Crunchyroll on social media.
