TOFU & CAPSICUM GRILLED SANDWICH

Tofu is made from soybean curds. It is naturally gluten-free and low in calories. Tofu is an important source of protein especially  for vegan and vegetarians. It contains no cholesterol and is an excellent source of iron and calcium. Tofu can enhance the skin and hair, boost energy, and help maintain a healthy weight. It decreases the risk of high blood pressure.

INGREDIENTS

  • Tofu
  • 1/4 cup Chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup Chopped capsicum
  • Cumin powder
  • Coriander
  • Pepper
  • Salt(optional)

RECIPE FOR TOFU & CAPSICUM SANDWICH

  • Firstly, in a large mixing bowl take grated tofu.
  • Add onion, capsicum and coriander.
  • Additionally add chilli powder, cumin powder , pepper and salt if you want.
  • Mix well making sure all the spices are combined well.
  • Now spread green chutney over a bread slice.
  • Spread the prepared tofu stuffing.
  • Then, cover again with bread slice spread with green chutney.
  • Now grill golden brown or toast on tawa.
