When You Give a Child a Camera
[ad_1]
Past year we gave our daughters (4 and five years aged) a couple of kid-friendly electronic cameras. My daughters love using images with their minor cameras and just take them on almost each individual hike, vacation to the wildlife park, and just about each and every new place that we go to.
My daughters minor cameras retail store around 800 pics right before they have to be transferred to a computer system or deleted. Following a hike on Sunday their cameras were complete and I experienced to transfer some pictures to my laptop computer so that they can just take far more photos when we go to the zoo.
It was though hunting through the 800 pictures they took that it dawned on me that they value of their cameras for us as mothers and fathers is to get some perception into how our young children look at mother nature and what they imagine is intriguing. Aside from images of fingers partially covering the lens and blurry pictures of toes there ended up lots of shots of rocks they identified attention-grabbing, near-ups of flower petals, pictures of worms and bugs, and some pics of our canine.
Now that their cameras have far more storage space, we are off to the zoo. I won’t be able to wait to see the photos they acquire there! Extra importantly, I can not hold out to listen to them converse about the pictures that they took and why they took them. I guess you could say we are beginning to dive into the globe of digital storytelling.
